Mission
We believe that great innovation comes from not only the generation of novel ideas, but also the critical thinking to take those ideas to their logical limits. Our mission is then twofold: empower Twin Cities youth to act creatively, while instilling “first principles” thinking.
Vision
First principles thinking is the natural framework in which mathematicians, physicists, and computer theorists operate. For this reason, MI aims to fulfill its mission via problem-solving courses in these three fields.
Courses
MI is excited to announce that we are now offering two courses for middle schoolers and high schoolers. Both will be taught within the framework of our mission, emphasizing both independent and collaborative problem-solving. These courses are designed to be engaging, rewarding, and most importantly, fun.
